Connecting to Catawba's Network

Use of Catawba's network requires you to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Failure to comply with this policy may result in suspension or termination of computing privileges.

Some Highlights of the policy:
  • Computer must be current on Operating System Security Patches
  • Computer must be running Anti-Virus with current virus signatures
  • Users must not attempt to access another user's account
  • No copyrighted content may be downloaded or shared
  • User must not download any content violating US or NC laws, or Catawba policy
  • The Information Technology department may monitor and log network activity

If you are unable to connect to the Catawba Network using the tools and instructions above, bring your computer to the Information Technology department (lower level of Hoke Building) and we will assist. If you are bringing a laptop, make sure you bring the power cord as well.
